Planning a wedding comes with lots of questions — and we’re here to make things easy. Here are the most common things couples ask us about Belle Air Mansion, from vendors and guest capacity to on-site lodging and what’s included with your booking.
How many guests can Belle Air accommodate for weddings?
We accommodate a wide range of celebrations — from intimate elopements for 2, micro-weddings for up to 20, and elegant indoor weddings for up to 50 guests inside the Mansion, to grand events for up to 250 guests in our new event venue.
What is included when I book a wedding at Belle Air?
We provide much more than just a venue. Each wedding booking includes:
- Exclusive access to the ceremony/reception location of your choice
- On-site restrooms for guests
- Round tables, banquet tables, and cocktail tables
- Elegant ghost chairs for up to 250 guests
- One event chair transfer (i.e., from ceremony to reception)
- A dedicated day-of property liaison to assist your team and vendors
- Coordination support for venue access and logistics
- One-night stay in our Honeymoon Suite

What is the new event venue, and when will it be available?
Our brand-new event venue is currently under construction and is projected to open in May 2026. Located just steps from the Mansion, this space will offer a timeless yet modern atmosphere, complete with wood floors, exposed wood-beam ceilings, and elegant chandeliers. It’s the perfect setting for receptions, larger ceremonies, and late-night dancing — while still embracing the Belle Air charm.
Can I get ready on-site the day of the wedding?
Absolutely! Whether or not you’ve selected our full house buyout option, Belle Air provides dedicated spaces for both the bride and bridal party, as well as the groom and groomsmen, to get ready on-site. Our elegant interiors and historic charm offer a beautiful and convenient setting for those special pre-ceremony moments — plus plenty of great photo opportunities.
Does Belle Air offer on-site lodging?
Yes. We offer ample on-site parking for wedding guests, vendors, and overnight visitors, with designated areas to ensure ease of access during large events.
Is parking available for guests?
Yes. Belle Air Mansion is also a luxury bed and breakfast with 16 uniquely styled guest rooms that sleep up to 40 guests. With a full-property buyout, you and your loved ones can enjoy the entire estate for the weekend. Your stay includes daily hot plated breakfast, access to our three elegant dining rooms, outdoor veranda, spacious gathering areas, and full use of the property’s indoor and outdoor spaces.
Does Belle Air offer catering?
Yes, but only for smaller events. We offer in-house Southern catering for intimate gatherings of up to 50 guests, such as micro-weddings, rehearsal dinners, and brunches. For larger events, we are happy to work with your selected caterer of choice through our open vendor policy.
Does Belle Air allow day-before access to the venue?
Yes, we do! We understand how helpful it is to have extra time for setup and preparation. Couples are welcome to schedule a rehearsal on the property the day before the wedding, and if you need to drop off supplies, décor, or signage, we’re happy to securely store them on-site. Just coordinate with our team in advance so we can ensure everything is ready for your big day.
Do you require event insurance?
Yes, we do require event insurance. This protects you, your guests, and your vendors by providing coverage for unforeseen circumstances such as accidents, property damage, or other unexpected issues. It’s an important safeguard that gives you peace of mind and helps ensure your wedding day runs smoothly.
Does Belle Air have an alcohol policy?
Yes. All alcohol must be served by a licensed and insured bartender with an active Tennessee ABC permit. This ensures responsible service and compliance with state laws. Your chosen bartending service must provide proof of certification and insurance prior to the event.
Are indoor weddings allowed inside the Mansion?
Yes, but only for smaller events. To help preserve the historic integrity of Belle Air Mansion, indoor weddings are limited to a maximum of 50 guests. For larger gatherings, we offer multiple outdoor ceremony locations and will soon open our dedicated event venue.
Are there separate spaces for rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, or post-wedding brunches?
Yes! With our on-site lodging and flexible indoor/outdoor spaces, Belle Air is ideal for hosting multiple wedding events. We can help you plan everything from a relaxed welcome dinner on the veranda to an elegant farewell brunch in one of our dining rooms.
Can I bring my own vendors to Belle Air Mansion?
Yes! Belle Air proudly maintains an open vendor policy. While we offer a curated list of preferred vendors who know our property well, you are welcome to bring in any professional vendor of your choice.
To ensure a smooth and successful event, we do require that all outside vendors provide proof of insurance and proper licensing and coordinate with our team in advance. This allows us to vet logistics and ensure everything runs seamlessly on your special day.
Is smoking allowed on the property?
Yes, but only in outside designated areas and with advance coordination. As a carefully preserved historic mansion, we kindly ask that any smoking areas be approved and arranged with our team to ensure the safety and integrity of the estate.
Is Belle Air conveniently located for guests traveling from out of town?
Very much so. Belle Air Mansion is just 4 miles from the Nashville International Airport, 5 miles from Broadway, and 4 miles from the Gaylord Opryland Resort, offering your guests a serene escape that’s still close to the heart of the city.

It was clear there was very thoughtful attention to considering the needs of the group. Then, the mansion and grounds were simply amazing. The best of a well-appointed bed and breakfast (combined with a time-travel machine) that takes you back to the best of an 1880s Greek Revival antebellum mansion. Would love to have the opportunity to visit again!
